Is it illegal to have a radar detector with a laser jammer in your car?

I'm about to buy one,but if I got stopped somehow and the cops saw it what would happen?I'm 16 and have had my license for about 10 months now by the way.

The radar part is legal in some states but the jammer is definitely against the law and could get you a ticket. I know in Texas the detector is legal, but if I crossed over into Arkansas I would have to put in up cause its not legal there. If you don't know about your state, go to your police departments(or sheriffs departments website and see if you can email the police chief(or sheriff) and ask. If not call them and ask, it never hurts to make sure. Worst thing that would happen if the detector is illegal they would write you a ticket(or if they are nice and you are polite to them, they might give you a warning) I don't see how they would know by looking if it had a jammer or not, but I wouldn't get one with it just in case. Because if a jerk cop pulls you over, he has every right to take you to jail. And that goes on your record, forever. And in most cases with the new systems that cops have the jammer wouldn't work anyways, and you would be screwed. Just remember that cops have to deal with jerks all day and risk their lives, so being nice to them can get you lots of brownie points and they can be nice in return.

I've owned several Lexus and several Mercedes, I've also driven BMW's and Audi's. To me, Lexus will always be #1 in comfort, technology, and ride quality. That may be hard to believe, but it's true. Most people are too ignorant to accept the fact that Lexus can be just as good, if not better than Mercedes, BMW, and Audi. The only area that they're lacking in is performance. I love all my Lexus, but they are kind of boring to drive. Hopefully, that'll change as Lexus adds more F-performance cars and adds F-sport accessories to existing models.

I'm not saying that Mercedes doesn't make good cars. I'll agree that they're some of the finest automobiles on the road. But in the areas that Lexus focuses, they're better.

Changing Motorcycle Oil and Oil Filter

Steps

1.    You need to prepare for the oil filter change before starting work. Put you motorcycle on centre stand on a level surface. Keep all the required tools and necessary items at one place. You cannot afford to run here and there to get different tolls or items while working.

2.    Take the drain pan and placed it right under the drain plug. Remove the drain plug with the help of suitable wrench. Once the drain plug is removed the oil will start to drain out in the drain pan. Adjust the position of the pan according to the flow of the oil.

3.    After all the oil drain out of the filter, take out the filter with the help of leather belt or with specified wrench (in case it is tight). Remove it carefully without harming any other part of the engine.

4.    Examine the drain plug crush washer closely and replace it with the new one in case of any wear and tear on it. Replace the drain plug back on its place once all the oil flows out.

5.    Take a new filter and put some new oil in it. Shake the filter for a while so that oil spread over it.

6.    Make use of your finger for this purpose. Spread oil thoroughly on the rubber seal and over the filter chamber. Fix the new oil filter back to its place carefully. Be careful that the motorcycle filter does not need tight or hard fixing. Just a slight effort will install it on the engine.

7.    Everyone owner's manual contains the perfect oil capacity and other necessary information, do follow them. After getting the reading about oil capacity, take a funnel and pour oil slowly into the filter. Do not over pour. Do it carefully and note the oil level gradually. Once you have achieved the desired level stop there.

8.    Clean the place and make sure that there is no oil leak from anywhere. Dispose off the dirty oil carefully. Take a small ride on your motorcycle and check for leaks again. Your job is done.

It is important to check the oil and oil filter condition regularly to avoid major loss to your motorcycle engine.

Is it tooo late to change my oil filter?

I couldnt get my oil filter off, so I just went ahead and drained my oil and put new oil in without changing the filter, can I go in now and change the filter, or would I have to drain my oil again?

If I had to drain it out, can I just use that same oil since its new or would I have to buy new oil???

How do I diagnose a malfunction when the annual car vehicle inspection failed?

My 2001 Mitsubishi Galant 6 cylinder failed the yearly inspection.

The only thing printed out on the report from the garage was a "fail" was an OBD-II test result indicating "MIL Commanded-On." I I don't know what that means.

Also, the yellow warning light on the dashboard has been on (seek engine help soon), and my own OBD-II show a code of P0135 (Oxygen Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction).

Is the "MIL Command-On" and the P0135 code related?

Is this an easy repair to replace the Oxygen Sensor.

It is your oxygen sensors that are malfuctioning. On most vehicles it is as easy as replacing spark plugs. I believe that your vehicle has two oxygen sensors on it. One is located on your exhaust system directly after the manifold, and the other is located on your exhaust system directly after the catalytic converter. All you need is the right wrench and the right O2 sensors, and the job may take you 20-30 minutes. Replacing your oxygen sensors will most likely turn your 'check engine' light off, but if it doesn't, then you may need to unplug your battery and plug it back in after thirty seconds so that your cars computer system can register that it has new O2 sensors.

It is a '99 van. The recall was issued in '01. It is not anything like a fire hazard or problem with the fuel tank. Just a door latch on the automatic door.
